We Perform: Safety Inspections in Scranton, PA
State Inspection Overview: West Virginia takes vehicle safety seriously, and to ensure drivers are operating a safe vehicle, the state requires a routine safety inspection every twelve months. This inspection must be completed at any official inspection station licensed by the West Virginia State Police, and upon passing, a valid inspection sticker will be placed on the inside of the windshield. It's important to note that this sticker is required by law, and driving without one can result in legal consequences.
New residents to the state have ten days to obtain a West Virginia inspection, including those who have purchased a vehicle out of state. Fortunately, West Virginia has reciprocity agreements with several states, meaning out of state inspection stickers are valid until their expiration date. However, any vehicle without a valid inspection sticker must be inspected within three days of purchase or acquisition. At Ed Vintner we offer West Virginia State Inspections. Contact us to schedule an inspection today, and be sure to bring along a valid registration card and certificate of insurance for the inspection.
